undergrad math major, with a concentration in education, going to be a high school math teacher in a couple years! math tutor to pay the bills, but i love it. never thought i'd say that. happily married with 5 cats and a dog. we'll see about the non fur-babies :)

i listen to ridiculous music and watch ridiculous movies.

jarvis cocker is so my real father. he's probably fathered so many kids he wouldn't be able to deny it either.

don't get me started on politics, all politicians suck. strange how the people who want the power are the people we least want to hold it.

i love locally owned/operated businesses. and most of our favourites (especially restaurants) know us by sight, if not by name. my husband and i have considered starting a local food blog about our personal favourites.

i have endometriosis. 617.9 is all i feel i am some days.

i love to decorate our house with vintage framed lps. my current favourite is maria callas la boheme from la scala with libretto in near good + condition moozh found for $5 at an antique store.

if i weren't so happily married, i would be striving with all means possible to have gaz coombes' babies. or anthony bourdain. or mario batali. those are the current top 3.

books. make me happy. my husband buys me books for presents, but then complains flowers would have lasted longer.

i think i'm the muggle young mrs weasley, but my mom says i'm much closer to susan sto-helit. i haven't read any susan books yet, so i can't comment either way. i'll read anything, even if it's bad and all the better if it's trashy. there have been only a handful of books i have had to stop reading. one of the first 4 dune books is one, and i got so frustrated at it that i threw it across the room while i was reading it.
